Prof. Manyazov
‘Abd al-Qadir Manyazov: 1930-2008
Graduated from the school of Philology and History on 1953, Prof. Manyazov begun his professional carrier as an employee at the Academy of Science and The Rudaki Academy of Tajik Literature. At the same time he acted as “Broadcaster” in the department of foreign languages at Radio Tajikistan. In 1960 he defended his PhD theses entitled “Early works of Sadruddin ‘Ayni and its Contribution to Revolutionary Literature of the East.” From 1956 – 61 he worked at the Department of Foreign Languages, Institute of Tajik Language. Later on he acted as the Deputy Director of the Institute of Tajik Language until 1969 when he was appointed as the Deputy Director of Tajik-Russian Encyclopaedia. From 1972 onwards he acted as the Executive Officer of Payvand Society
